Laurie Maitland - We're Gonna Make Our Dreams Come True (1998) - disco cover version of the Laverne & Shirley tune


This is the soulful, inspiring disco cover version of the Laverne & Shirley tune, written by the late Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox with added music and lyrics by Laurie herself and Ellen Weston.

The beginning of this version starts off with the slow piano ballad intro, then it picks up the speed to a fast disco tempo with joyous handclaps and rhythmic percussion in the style of Donna Summer from the Casablanca Record & Filmworks years since the late '70s.
